Mi have a beautiful one-year-old daughter, and some of mi favorite memories are rocking her to sleep while singing tunes from Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs, and Steel Pulse. From roots reggae to lovers rock, di music always carry a likkle healing inna it. Nuh matter how rough di day get, reggae always bring mi back to center.
Mi touch Jamaica one time already, and trust mi, di island spirit never lef yuh. Mi soon forward back dis summer fi soak up more sun, more culture, more jerk, and more irie energy. When reggae a play, mi mind drift 40 miles offshore pon di water… or pon one quiet private beach wid mi daughter, breeze blowing and not a worry in sight. Dat’s di feeling we a bring every show.
