"It's Not That Hard."

— Jame's latest entries in the 96X DJs Blog...

I hail from Vero Beach Florida, a small beautiful town on the south east coast of Florida. Palm Trees, Beach, and the old home of the L.A Dodgers spring training. Radio peaked my interest at the age of 14, landed my first part time radio job at the hometown radio station around the age of 16. Worked throughout high school at the local stations, tried college for a semester or so and decided to quit and move back to my hometown to further pursue my career.

I've driven up and down the east coast way to many times and I am very happy to be here in Hampton Roads, it is the first place in ages that actually feels like home. I still have big dreams, and hope to reach them one day.

I spend most of my week producing a lot of the sounds you hear in between songs, talk shows, and in commercial breaks on 93.7 BOB-FM, 96X, US 106, 790am WNIS, 850am WTAR, as well as a few stations across the country like 96.7 BOB FM in Santa Rosa California, and 101X KROX, KLBJ, and KGSR in Austin Texas.

When I'm not working, this is what I enjoy:

Sitting on my couch, watching anything in HD, The Food Network, The Daily Show and Colbert, washing clothes, steak, wine, hanging out with friends, meeting listeners, working out, going to pools, concerts, Admirals games, thinking about how much I think to much, wondering how we got here, daydreaming, wanting to go on vacation, Captain and Coke, a certain dude from Mexico named Jose, dressing up, my parents log cabin.

That's all I've got, thanks for listening and I will see you around!
